Folk Art Dog Mailboxes are designed and handmade by Indiana artist Laura DeMers. The wood is primed and painted with an Oil Based, Enamel finish. The mailbox is standard rural size (19"x7"x9"), galvanized steel, and approved by the U.S. Postal Service. Most faces have 3 layers of wood. The head is 1 inch thick. Its muzzle is 1 inch thick with the nose and ears 1/4 inch thick. Ears that are standing are carved. Light assembly is required (screwdriver.)
